弩螢 Flower Firefly

形態特徵：雄螢體長6-7毫米，可見腹板7節；雌螢外貌與雄螢相似，可見腹板6節；均未見發光器。

分佈地點：牛押山。

成蟲活躍月份：3月至4月

其他資料：會在花朵取食。外貌與臺灣的 D. oliveri、日本的D. bicolor, D. iokii and D. akakanajai 相似，但本種的鞘翅端部黑色，而且雄外生殖器結構亦不一樣


Morphological features：Male body length 6-7 mm, with 7 visible sternites. Female resembles male, but with 6 visible sternites. Light organ not found.

Distribution：Ngau Ngak Shan.

Adult flight period：March to April

Other information：Feed on flowers. Colouration of this species is very similar to D. oliveri from taiwan, D. bicolor, D. iokii and D. akakanajai from Japan, but the elytral tips are black in the Hong Kong species, structure of the male genitalia is also different.
