Male body length 5.2-7.0 mm; antennae unipectinate, with very long branches, resembles Stenocladius bicoloripes, but pronotum reddish brown, elytra black with basal area reddish brown. Female and larva not known.

:Male will be attracted to artificial light, often found in public toilets in countryside
. Some records taken in the daytime. Sometimes caught in large number in Malaise trap. Male shows two pairs of weak light spots at the abdomen.
